Going Through a Phase
It is certainly an answer to the long time complaint about MMORPGs, that you can do all the quests you’re given and the world remains the same. And given that phasing is supposed to be a huge part of the upcoming Cataclysm expansion, I hope Blizzard has some ideas on the subject.

Mirkwood Guilt
I am nowhere close to seeing any of Moria. I have level 30 characters on two servers, but the furthest I have been is Rivendell. And that was back in February. But more than one fantasy MMO at a time seems to be beyond my capabilities right now.

BlizzCon Overload!
That is the true selling point, the only reason any big fan of Blizzard games needs to know. The Bad Blizzard expects to ship StarCraft II and WoW Cataclysm in 2010, though they were a bit soft on the Cataclysm date. And Diablo III is much further out. We have a wait ahead of us still.

We have certainly moved in that direction as we have climbed out of the (Diku)MUD and into three dimensional worlds. In 1999 the city of Freeport in EverQuest certainly felt like a real place when compared to the text based city of Waterdeep in TorilMUD on which it was based.

Angling in Angmar
For no good reason, I have done fishing in every MMO I have played that made some sort of angling mechanic available. I have had characters with fishing skills at the cap in EverQuest, EverQuest 2, and World of Warcraft. Equipping my new pole (and hat), I was soon fishing.
