Fable II's first downloadable content pack, Knothole Island, isn't going to make appearances under the Christmas tree this year. The expansion has been delayed, according to an update to Microsoft's...
In a way it is somewhat difficult to be really critical of a game which at least tries to implement a reasonably fleshed out moral system. Molyneux: “[In] Fable 2 there is much more colour to those choices: purity versus corruption, cruelty versus kindness, greed versus generosity. And the...
Fable II The 360’s definitive fantasy role playing game, Fable II presents Albion as an immense tapestry upon which to paint the story of your character’s life. The consequence driven engine immerses a player in role playing like no other game can, while the action sequences are entertai...

More Peter Molyneux talking. Here he goes, talk, talk, talk. And when he's not talking about his new game Fable 2, he's talking about other stuff. Today's other stuff is his opinion of RPG Oblivion and comparing it to Fable 2. According to Molyneux:
Back in 2004, Peter Molyneux and the team at Lionhead Studios released Fable, a game that somehow managed to receive high praise while at the same time being one of the most disappointing titles ever released. Molyneux severely over-hyped his creation, and when the open-ended world wher...
The major purchase season rolls on relentlessly. First, some stragglers, Rock Band 2 is out today for PS3, Dead Space for pissed-off PC gamers tomorrow, Bioshock at last arrives for PS3 on Tuesday. But also on Tuesday, like twin hotels on Park Place and Boardwalk, is Fable II and Far Cry 2. Spi...
This comes minutes after Molyneux explains to me why he asked reviewers to get casual gamers to check out Fable II before writing their review. Molyneux seems to agree. Instead of making Fable II more casual, Molyneux hopes the Lionhead game expands the genre in a way that doesn't hurt it.
Lionhead's Peter Molyneux letter to reviewers for Fable II is much ado about nothing, the outspoken developer said in an interview today. That doesn't mean, Molyneux said, that Fable II wasn't created for fans of role-playing games, but that they way they approached the genre was more ab...
During my interview yesterday Lionhead Studio's Sam Van Tilburgh was pretty mum about the gold-churning glitch that was discovered in Fable 2's pre-release mini Pub Games. He said that the patch for the game should be going live very ...
If there's one thing that Fable II looks to achieve, it's painless action RPG combat. It may not have the cinematic flair of Nintendo's 3D Legend of Zelda games, but Lionhead Studios title has so much more depth, we can forgive a few rough edges.
When last we saw Peter Molyneux and his promise-filled Fable 2 at GDC, he just would not stop talking about his dog. I should know, I was there. And you know what? He made a believer out of me. But this time, in a hotel room at E3, he showed off two things teenage boys are probably much more intereste...
