Polyphony Digital chief Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that Gran Turismo 5 cost a meaty $60 million to make. Presumably a large portion of those funds were spent on developing the PlayStation 3 engine - a cost that could be considerably trimmed for a next instalment on the same hardware.
