Forestbear: If you're using Red Steel as your barometer for FPS quality on the Wii, you probably need to play more FPS games. Lezard.
Well, according to this rumor French Wii news site Wiiz is running that says the game won't be out something like Winter 2009. Ubisoft's announced the game is using the MotionPlus add-on, so maybe it'll be there when the peripheral ...
I asked about Wii MotionPlus because in theory that’d solve the realism problem. Eric told me Nintendo hadn’t handed over the goods quite yet, although they were expecting to get their hands on dev kit materials this week. At least Nintendo had been helpful in providing High Voltage with a w...
Back in 2006, Ubisoft was one of the first companies to release a Wii-mote title with Red Steel. Now the company is saying that it will take advantage of the upcoming Wii Motion Plus. Explains Ubisoft's Alain Corre: By "change the experience", Corre must mean "make Red Steel not sucky."

I'm enjoying the hell out of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption so far, and that is saying a lot considering my general apathy towards its predecessors. It joins Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4 as one of the few truly epic games on the Wii to date.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and My word Coach have gotten a lot of praise. Also from what has been said about Red Steel 2 and considering what the dev team managed to do on such a rush job despite no expierence on fps games much less a whole new control scheme I think Ubisoft will vastly redeem itself.

After picking up his Wii, he read his Nintendo themed poem (seriously) to the gathered media. The first Wii owner exited, booty held aloft, and the patient crowd was allowed entrance. Media were quickly booted out to give the staff some breathing room.
I only have been able to test the controllers on three games, Wii Sports, The Legend of Zelda and Excite Truck, so I still want to reserve judgement on just how precise the pointer will be in fast paced games, like Red Steel. The remote isn't quite as comfortable and I found, while playing with...
