In a rather surprising move Microsoft is going to offer either a free 512 MB Memory Unit for free or sell a 20GB hard drive for $20 to people who have purchased an Arcade or Core Xbox 360 system. I could register my console and a free 512 MB memory unit since I got an Arcade to replace my old Xbox 360....

Update: It appears that the Jasper motherboard also has 256 megs of internal memory so it can run the NXE operating system san-hard-drive and having to worry. This is basically like having a built in memory unit in addition to the hard drive or external memory unit. Cool!
